Google bombing is the seo name for an attempt to influence the ranking of a page in the Google serps, often with humorous or political intentions to make a site rank highly for a given term. It entails the creation of one mostly negative site about lets say company X. Then a large number of sites mostly blogs place a descriptive link to that negative company X site. If done correctly the negative company X site will start to rank highly for the Google search for company X and migh even push the result for company X from the top position. The implications are enormous.
If done correctly a Google bomb could be used by a seo specialist, getting a negative site rank high for the company name of a choosen keyword and then changing the sites content. Blogs can be a very big help in getting a site rank.
